The Santiago School of Physics 2025, organized by the Physics Department-FCFM of Universidad de Chile, welcomes Latin American and Chilean students in their final year of undergraduate studies or enrolled in master's programs in physics and related fields. The program aims to provide participants with an updated perspective on recent advances across diverse areas of physics.
The courses are as follows:
- “The observable universe: a guide to modern cosmology”, Domenico Sapone
- “Physics of the nucleus and neutron stars”, Hugo Arellano
- “Intense quantum light”, Carla Hermann
- “Multi-orbital photonic lattices: theory and experiments”, Rodrigo Vicencio
- "Physics of amorphous materials”, Fernando Lund
- “Topological states in condensed matter”, Luis Foa
- “Characterization of solid surfaces”, Victor Fuenzalida and Marcos Flores
- “Morphogenesis and hydrodynamic instabilities”, Claudio Falcón
- “Spatio-temporal chaos and out of equilibrium systems”, Marcel Clerc
- “Active matter and biophysics”, Ignacio Bordeau
